Miss Malik

Miss Malik out the H! As a kid, I wanted to act and do music, but I went ahead and buried those ideas, as I started not to believe in myself. 

I grew up in a separated home, moved place to place a lot. My siblings and I had an unstable upbringing. I  found refuge in writing poetry. As I grew up, I decided to perform my poems at Spoken Word Events. I recently translated those poems into song lyrics, and now I'm actually  fulfilling my childhood dream!

Creci en un hogar separado, me mudé mucho de un lugar a otro. Mis hermanos y yo tuvimos una educación inestable. Encontré refugio escribiendo poesía. A medida que crecía, decidí presentar mis poemas en Spoken Word Events. Recientemente traduje esos poemas a letras de canciones, ¡y ahora estoy cumpliendo mi sueño de infancia!
